Body image refers to how you perceive, think, and feel about your body. It includes your beliefs about your physical appearance, the emotions those beliefs trigger, and the behaviors that follow. People may experience negative body image in relation to weight, shape, skin, hair, height, aging, scarring, or other physical traits.
