Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, thank you for reading.
Sometimes life can be hard and there are moments when we may feel hopeless, overwhelmed, lost or stuck.
When your feeling distressed or worried, a confidential place, where being listened to, can feel like a life raft, so becoming a helpful starting point.
Perhaps you feel anxious, worried, overwhelmed, or confused by recent or past life events. It is common to feel stuck; find yourself repeating negative patterns and making the same unhelpful life choices, or struggles with relationships.
I am a UK licensed and accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist , Counselling trainer and Clinical Supervisor, with extensive, professional experience with both private and NHS clients.
To introduce myself, I initially trained in Person Centred Therapy, before completing an Integrative Counselling Degree- BSC (1st Class Hons). I’ve also completed a Psychotherapy qualification and work with historical issues, attachment and relationships, as well as Stress Management, Mindfulness and Breathwork. So hopefully I feel I have many techniques to help.
I currently work and specialised in areas of Anxiety & Depression, relationships and trauma, abuse, addiction and PTSD among many others.
I use these skills to help you feel safe, heard and understood, without judgement. I hope that sounds like what you’re looking for?
I will be treating you with care and respect to build a positive therapeutic relationship with you, to find out what you want and what you need. These wide range of approaches and techniques will find the most suitable approach for you.
We will do this by working in a confidential space, to explore together what is going on for you. I won’t tell you what to do, as it’s not my place; rather we will work together to help you find a clearer perspective and move forward and regain control.
It might help to know I have considerable experience helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, coping with grief and loss, anxiety and depression, panic attacks, self-esteem, bullying, domestic violence, anger issues, BPD, chronic illness, cancer and terminal diagnosis, together with many other difficult emotional issues.
I l know taking the first step in starting therapy can take courage and I am here to help you get started!

Victoria Cowgill is a UK-based, licensed and accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist, who also works as a counselling trainer and clinical supervisor. She has eight years of experience supporting both private and NHS clients and brings an integrative approach that draws on several training routes.
Victoria initially trained in Person Centred Therapy and went on to complete an Integrative Counselling degree (BSc, first-class honours). She has also completed a psychotherapy qualification and uses this combined training to work with historical issues, attachment and relationships, alongside practical approaches such as stress management, mindfulness and breathwork.
Her practice currently focuses on areas including anxiety and depression, relationships, trauma and abuse, addiction and PTSD, among others. Victoria aims to create a listening space where clients feel safe, heard and understood without judgement, and she works collaboratively rather than directing what someone should do.
Victoria has substantial experience helping people with stress and anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma and abuse, grief and loss, panic attacks, self-esteem issues, bullying, domestic violence, anger, borderline personality disorder, chronic illness, cancer and terminal diagnosis, as well as many other challenging emotional concerns. She treats each person with care and respect, building a therapeutic relationship to identify what a client wants and needs and to find the most suitable ways to move forward.
Recognising that beginning therapy often takes courage, Victoria is available to help people take that first step and to support them as they regain perspective and greater control over their lives.
For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or coping with life changes – online therapy can offer outcomes comparable to traditional face-to-face sessions. Research and practice indicate that, for these sorts of issues, remote therapy often works just as well as in-person work.
One of the main benefits is flexibility. People can choose the mode of contact that suits them best – video calls, phone conversations, live chat or in-app messaging – which can make it much easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Each therapist involved in online work is a licensed professional, and if someone feels a different fit would be better they can switch to another therapist at any time. Online therapy can therefore be an effective, adaptable option for many seeking support with everyday mental health challenges.
