Hello,
I’m Sian, an Integrative Psychotherapist based in the UK. My approach combines various therapeutic techniques, including CBT, Humanistic, and Psychodynamic Therapy, to help you overcome challenges like anxiety, trauma, and low self-esteem. I focus on understanding how your past experiences and attachment styles affect your present life. Together, we’ll build resilience, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of self-compassion.
My Story
Growing up, I faced a lot of challenges that left deep marks on my emotional well-being. As a child, I went through experiences that were really difficult to process. They affected my ability to manage my emotions, and as I grew older, I found myself battling overwhelming anxiety and panic attacks.
My self-esteem took a hit, and I often felt lost in my own world of worry and fear. Forming close relationships felt impossible, and social anxiety became a constant companion.
For the longest time, I believed there was no way out. I was stuck in this exhausting cycle, unsure if I’d ever feel any different. But things began to change when I made the decision to seek therapy.
Therapy was like a light in the dark for me. It gave me the tools to understand not only my anxiety but also how to work through it. I started recognizing my triggers, and slowly, I learned how to manage my reactions in a healthier way. It wasn’t easy, but with time, I started to feel more in control of my life.
If any of this resonates with you – if you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, uncertainty, or struggles in your relationships – I want you to know that you’re not alone. I’m here to support you.
My goal as a therapist is to help you explore your own emotions, understand your patterns, and start building a stronger sense of self-worth and peace.
In our sessions, I focus on the connection between our thoughts and behaviours, and how they shape our emotional and physical well-being.
Together, we’ll work on creating healthier responses to the challenges life throws at us, so you can move forward with confidence and self-love.
You don’t have to face this journey alone – I’m here to help you find your path to healing.
However, I understand that this journey isn’t always easy. That’s why I believe it’s crucial to explore our attachment styles and delve into our past to understand why we struggle with emotional regulation and feelings of inadequacy. By being kind to ourselves and allowing ourselves to feel emotions without judgment, we can learn to be vulnerable, which is a strength.
I look forward to hearing from you!
