Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Are you struggling with your mental health, or wanting to understand your emotions, or to process a past trauma?
Do you want to develop more self-compassion or improve your overall well-being?
As a person-centred therapist, I am here to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can talk freely about whatever is on your mind. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, dealing with unresolved trauma, or simply wanting to better understand yourself and achieve some personal or professional growth, I am here to listen with empathy, validation, care and compassion.
Together, we can create a supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace.
Through our therapy sessions, you will have the support and guidance to tap into your own inner strengths and resources, to help you learn new skills, tools and strategies which can help you process your challenges, heal from past traumas, and develop a deeper understanding of your past and present emotions. This process of being heard and understood can lead to meaningful therapeutic change, helping you feel more grounded, empowered, and improving your well-being – both now and in the future.
In our sessions, I will always prioritise your safety and comfort. You are in complete control of what you wish to talk about, and I will never force you to discuss anything you’re not ready for. I will never judge you, nor minimise any challenges that you have experienced, or still are facing.
I currently offer live chat/text sessions only, in the afternoons and evenings (UK time) with clients from anywhere in the world.
If you’re ready to take the first step toward feeling better, I’m here to support you. Let’s work together to create the change you’re looking for.
I hope to speak with you soon!
Becky
(Rebecca Thomas, BSc (Hons) GMBPsS MBACP)
– Professional & Educational Background –
I’ve been working with clients in therapeutic settings since 2018, and I qualified as a Person Centred (also known as Client Centred) therapist in 2021 on a British Association of Counselling and Psychothetapy (BACP) course. My experience during my training included working in an NHS GP medical practice, working with imprisoned women inside a closed-category, maximum security prison, and at a mental health charity in a severely socioeconomically deprived area. These diverse clients and therapeutic experiences have allowed me to work with people from all walks of life, dealing with a very wide variety of issues.
I graduated with a Psychology BSc (Hons) degree in 2015, which is British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited. During my time at University, I methodically created and carried out my research dissertation focused on understanding the process and development of fear and phobia. Throughout my degree, I explored various areas of psychology, including psychological clinical interventions, biopsychology, neuropsychology, and clinical and forensic psychology. This has given me a deep understanding of many psychiatric diagnoses and their profound impact on both the individual and their loved ones. I also have a special interest in psychiatric pharmacology, which further enhances my knowledge in supporting clients facing mental health challenges.
I hold Graduate Membership with The British Psychological Society (GMBPsS) and Individual Membership with The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), because I am committed to maintaining the highest professional standards in my practice, ensuring you receive ethical, evidence-based care that you can trust.
