Many people attend counselling for a variety of reasons. People find it a safe place to explore, past, present, and relevant issues. Seeking help can be challenging and can take an immense amount of courage. You have just taken the first step to change and helping yourself. My desire is to help you achieve your goals by providing a safe, authentic, and compassionate setting with an individualised therapy experience.
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I abide by the ethical framework set out by this association. I provide a holistic approach to counselling by addressing your physical, mental, emotional, and social needs. I approach therapy in a very integrative, client-centered manner to ensure the highest quality care is provided in a non judgemental way.
I use a variety of therapeutic techniques to include person centered, cognitive-behavioral, transactional analysis, solution-focused, psychoeducational, trauma-informed, mindfulness and more. I have worked with clients that have ADHD, PTSD, Complex anxiety, Bereavement (specialist suicide bereavement) and Eating Disorders to name a few. I am a qualified counsellor who offer’s individual counselling sessions for ages 16+.
