Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes, online therapy is shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions for most people.
One major benefit is convenience – clients can choose the format that suits them best, whether that is a video session, a phone conversation, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into busy schedules and to engage in regular sessions.
Therapists offering online work are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they need a different fit. For many people, online therapy provides an accessible and workable route to support and progress with everyday mental health challenges.
