PROFILE
I am an experienced Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, Hypnotherapist, Career Coach and Mental Health Trainer. I am BACP Registered and NCPS Accredited. I demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal. I enjoy communicating with clients at all levels. I have an impressive record of leading teams with strategic planning, scheduling, influencing and customer service, account management leading through to resolution. A sound knowledge of business process policy and service delivery I am enthusiastic and motivated to listen to help, motivate others to achieve their goals.
Having worked in a Senior Management role for Corporate Industries for the past 30 years I have extensive experience in managing, setting targets and KPI’s; setting SMART objectives. Very comfortable delivering training and coaching to large audiences as well as teams and individuals. Adhering to all internal policies and procedures.
Empathetic by nature I have founded my own Counselling and Hypnotherapy service, The Listening Tree which is designed to offer affordable services to local people. I have been running this practise for over eight years. As part of my business I have taught Hypnotherapy and Counselling to student Hypnotherapists and Counsellors up to level 5.
I am a Counselling Supervisor and Supervise Counsellors. I have extensive experience with Bereavementand and volunteered for CRUSE, where I undertook my placement. I completed over 150 hours with this organisation alone. I have taken an Advance Hypnotherapy Course with Higher Perspectives and I am a qualified Hypnotherapy Supervisor.
I graduated over eight years ago have given over 1000 hours of counselling and 500 hours of hypnotherapy. I have been an Affiliate for Anxiety UK, Ben, Mates in Mind, Professional Help Redarc, Randstad, Griefchat, Vita Health Ltd and Betterhelp.
I have also provided mentoring to students between the ages of 16 – 25 and mentor mature students who have returned to studying. This has been a challenging role as many have complex mental health issues or physical health issues which can impede their motivation to study I have experience of EAP Helpline, Telephone and video counselling,

She is BACP Registered and NCPS Accredited – registered with a major professional counselling body and accredited by NCPS – and combines therapeutic practice with training and supervision.
She spent three decades in senior management roles within corporate industries, developing skills in strategic planning, target setting, KPI management and delivering training and coaching to large audiences, teams and individuals. Her background includes account management, customer service, scheduling and working within business process and policy frameworks.
Empathetic by nature, Michelle founded The Listening Tree to provide affordable counselling and hypnotherapy services to local people and has run the practice for over eight years. She has taught hypnotherapy and counselling to student hypnotherapists and counsellors up to level 5, and she also supervises practising counsellors as a counselling supervisor.
