Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Welcome. My name is Kerry.
I have experience in helping clients with anxiety, depression, family conflicts, LGBTQ+ adults, relationship difficulties, loneliness, coping with grief, lack of self esteem and confidence, dealing with life changes.
I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you.
It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
My approach is Person Centred, I provide a safe space where you can talk about what you need to and what you are struggling with at this point in your life.
Together we can start a conversation about how we can work together to support you and work towards happier living. Painful feelings and reactions can get in the way of living.
When someone listens and is fully present with us we can listen to what hurts inside.
Learning to hear ourselves, with compassion accompanied by a caring other, can be a very healing process. New ways forward emerge, you become more able to cope, make decisions you couldn’t before, or express yourself as once you could not. It may be surprising to discover what held you back. We all have inner knowledge of what’s right for us. I will work with you to find your inner resources so you can navigate your life with less stress.
Making sense, however stuck or unhappy we feel however scary or deeply distressing our experiences, these makes very good sense when we understand them as a natural reaction to what life has thrown at us.
This includes childhood experiences, losses, painful dilemmas in adult life, as well as the social and economic conditions we are living in, or societie’s view of how we should be.
You may also want counselling because you’re experiencing life in ways that are hard to describe. Feeling stuck, feeling life has no meaning, feeling numb, feeling reactive to everything, being in conflict with others or yourself, having difficulty making decisions, feeling unfulfilled. You may feel there is more to life, but don’t know how to find it.
I also a work with LGBTQ+ adults who wish to meet a counsellor where these aspects of their identity will not unnecessarily be questioned or looked at, but can be spoken about respectfully and safely.
For me, the most important qualities a therapist can offer is being there for the client, witnessing their story and offering a warm and non-judgmental space. I’m happy to work with whatever you bring to me and I welcome a diverse range of clients.
If welcomed, we can explore breathwork, self massage, movement/dance or art therapy. Although completely understandable you may prefer to talk through what’s on your mind.

Kerry Griggs is a UK-based therapist with eight years of experience supporting people through anxiety, depression, family conflict, relationship difficulties, loneliness, grief, low self-esteem and confidence, and life transitions. She also works with LGBTQ+ adults who want to meet a counsellor who will treat aspects of identity with respect and safety.
Kerry adopts a Person Centred approach, offering a warm, non-judgmental space where clients can talk about what they need and what is challenging them right now. She believes clients are the experts in their own stories and that recognising existing strengths helps people move through what holds them back.
When someone is listened to and met with presence and compassion, it becomes possible to notice inner knowledge and resources that support clearer decisions, better coping and more authentic expression. Kerry works collaboratively to help clients make sense of painful feelings as natural responses to life events – including childhood experiences, losses, adult dilemmas, and the wider social and economic forces that shape well-being.
People may seek Kerry’s support for experiences that are hard to describe – feeling stuck, numb, reactive, in conflict, indecisive or unfulfilled – and for help finding a more meaningful way forward. If welcomed, sessions can include breathwork, self-massage, movement or dance, or simple art activities alongside talking. Kerry welcomes a diverse range of clients and aims to support and empower each person on their journey toward less stress and more satisfying living.
Many people ask whether connecting with a therapist online can genuinely help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship problems or navigating life changes, online therapy has been found to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person work.
A key advantage is flexibility – clients can choose the format that fits their life best, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to maintain continuity of care while juggling work, family and other commitments.
Therapy delivered remotely is provided by licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they want a different fit. For many people, this combination of accessibility, variety of communication methods and professional support makes online therapy a practical route toward better coping and greater well-being.
