Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
A key benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat or in-app messaging. This variety of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to engage in the format that feels most comfortable.
Therapists offering online work are licensed professionals, and if someone feels a different fit would be better they can change therapists at any time. Online therapy can be a practical, accessible way to begin or continue therapeutic work with trained professionals.
