Sarah Lambert MA, MBACP

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

Are you living a life that feels fulfilling and true to who you are and who you want to be?

Life’s challenges can often obscure our path, making it difficult to see the wood for the trees but just know that you’re not alone.

Suffering is an inherent part of being human. I’ve faced my own share of challenges, and through seeking help, I’ve learned something about strength, resilience, and how to go forward… moving through the woods in spite of how dark it can be at times.

I am a Registered Member with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), with a master’s degree in Clinical Counselling (awarded distinction). I have completed Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), enhancing my ability to support individuals facing suicidality.

I work with a range of concerns, including: Abuse, Addictions, Anger management, Autism spectrum, Anxiety, Bereavement, Suicide bereavement, Child related issues, Cultural issues, Depression, Eating disorders, Identity issues, Loss, Post-traumatic stress, Redundancy, Relationships, Self-esteem, Self-harm, Sexuality, Spirituality, Stress, Trauma, Work related issues.

My belief is that you are the expert of your own world- you know what hurts most. In counselling, it would be about you sharing your world and experiences with me, facing the pain together as we navigate the intricate woods of your life. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support and empower you in that journey.

Therapy offers a safe, confidential space where you can unmask, speak freely, and be fully accepted for who you are and where you are in your journey. Feelings of shame or the belief that others won’t understand us can often keep us silent, hiding our true emotions. In the virtual therapy space, you’ll feel genuinely seen, supported, and understood. To feel met, held and accepted, can be transformational, changing how we feel about ourselves and how we are with others in the world. By embracing the parts of yourself you’ve struggled with, you can release the burden of shame and the belief that you’re disconnected from others, enabling yourself to be the person you want to be, whilst feeling less alone in the world.

Your unique story and individuality matter.

About

Is life feeling less satisfying than it should be or out of step with who someone wants to be? Sarah Lambert MA, MBACP offers a calm, supportive presence for people seeking clearer direction and greater wellbeing.

She recognises that suffering is part of the human experience and has faced her own challenges, learning about resilience and the value of seeking help. That personal understanding informs her work and how she supports others as they move forward through difficult times.

Sarah is a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and holds a master’s degree in Clinical Counselling, awarded with distinction. She has completed Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), which strengthens her ability to support people experiencing suicidality. She has three years of professional experience practising in the United Kingdom.

She works with a wide range of concerns, including abuse, addictions, anger management, autism spectrum issues, anxiety, bereavement and suicide bereavement, child-related issues, cultural issues, depression, eating disorders, identity issues, loss, post-traumatic stress, redundancy, relationship difficulties, self-esteem struggles, self-harm, sexuality concerns, spirituality, stress, trauma, and work-related issues. She also lists specialties in stress, anxiety, relationships, trauma and abuse, grief, depression, addictions, LGBT matters, family and intimacy-related issues, eating concerns, self-esteem, and coping with life changes. Sarah is a female therapist and is gay.

Her approach is founded on the belief that each person is the expert on their own world. In therapy she invites individuals to share their experiences so they can face pain together and navigate the complex paths of their lives. Seeking change takes courage, and she aims to support and empower people as they take those first steps toward a more fulfilling life.

Therapy with Sarah provides a space to unmask, speak openly, and be met with acceptance. Shame and the fear of not being understood often keep people silent; being seen and held in the therapeutic relationship can shift how someone feels about themselves and how they relate to others. By acknowledging and integrating difficult parts of oneself, people can lift burdens of shame and move closer to living as the person they want to be while feeling less alone.

Sarah values each person’s unique story and individuality, and she works collaboratively to support personal growth and healing.

Is Online Therapy the Right Choice for Your Mental Health Journey?

Many people ask whether online therapy truly helps. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or adjusting to life changes, online therapy can be as effective as conventional in-person work for most people.

One clear advantage is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that suits them best, whether via video calls, phone appointments, live chat, or in-app messaging. This variety makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to choose the style of contact that feels most comfortable.

Therapy delivered online is provided by licensed professionals and offers the same therapeutic principles as face-to-face sessions. If the fit with a particular therapist does not feel right, it is possible to change practitioners at any time so someone can find the best match for their needs.

By making therapy more accessible and adaptable, online options can support people working through common emotional and relational challenges while fitting treatment into everyday life.
