Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
About Me
Thank you for taking a look at my page. If you think you may need counselling, you are not alone and you have made the first step already. At times we are all faced with confusing or difficult situations, feelings of dissatisfaction, anxiety, stress or depression, painful losses, bereavement or trauma, difficult decisions or the need for change. I can help you to explore your difficulties and provide you with a safe environment and support you on your journey for answers.
Everyone has the capacity to cope with crisis, resolve problems, develop personal insight and make choices, but having support and encouragement when the going gets tough can make a huge difference.
I will offer you a safe and supportive space that is confidential, where you can talk about what you are experiencing and how you are feeling. I will help you to identify what choices you have, supporting you through the changes that you may want to make. My premises are in a discreet residential area of Mayland and ExploringUcounselling premises in Sudbury
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified Counsellor, Supervisor, Trainer and an accredited member of BACP. I trained as a counsellor at Anglia Ruskin University on a BSc (Hons) Degree course in Integral counselling, covering all the main theoretical models. I do not use any one particular model as each client is individual and therefore I work with a client based on their particular needs.
I work with individuals, couples, families and groups depending on the need of the client group. I am a specialist in bereavement and loss of any kind including loss of pets, career, lifestyle. Loss comes in many forms and I am here to support you through this time.
I am a relate trained counsellor specialising in working with couples in times of need.
I offer Creative Therapy for clients that find it difficult to put into words what they are experiencing and creative working can enable clients to achieve the same results as pure talking therapy.
I am a qualified supervisor and provide supervision and personal therapy for qualified counsellors, trainees and other healthcare professionals, individually or as a group.
I am also a qualified trainer/ tutor and provide various different training models to include Counselling, Supervision, Bereavement and Creative therapy for professionals and individuals wishing to develop as a person, enabling them to have a better self awareness whilst being able to communicate with people on a deeper level.
