I am a qualified therapist and am registered with the BACP, having completed a BACP accredited Diploma of Higher Education and furthering this with an extra year of study to gain a BA (Hons) degree in Person-Centred Counselling.
I have been working with clients for over 4 years and enjoy working with people from all walks of life on whatever issues are important to them.
Coming to this profession as a mature student I hold a wealth of life experience as well as having worked with a number of different issues including , but not limited to sexuality, consensual non-monogamy, personality disorders and anxiety and depression. I see myself as open-minded and liberal when it comes to the human experience therefore whatever you bring to the session, we can explore this safely with no judgement.
My style of counselling is friendly, inquisitive and caring. I work hard to promote an environment which is conducive to you being able to share whatever it may be that has encouraged you to seek counselling. I will not give you solutions to your problems because I feel that you are the expert on your experience. I will be with you as you explore this experience, offering empathy and affirming your story so that you are able to find a way forward that works for you.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, evidence indicates that online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit of remote therapy is flexibility – you can choose the way of connecting that suits you best, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Therapists offering online work are licensed professionals, and if you decide the fit is not right you can switch to another therapist at any time. For many people, online therapy provides an accessible and practical route to support that aligns with their needs and lifestyle.
