Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi, I have been a therapist since 2003 and before that I was a nurse for many years. I have a private practice and have worked with clients with a range of issues including, sexuality, mental health, relationships, gender, grieving, low self confidence, family issues, abuse and sexual abuse,
I offer a safe environment for my clients and will use many different counselling models including, person centred, CBT, Gestalt and others as well. I will treat you as an individual and work with you in a kind and compassionate manner and at the beginning I will answer any questions or doubts you may have.
Counselling sometimes is not easy and takes courage but it gives you a time to be kind to yourself and a time to breathe. If you are ready to take that first step I will be here to support you and work with you in going forward.
I look forward to working with you.

Helen Willoughby has practised as a therapist since 2003, having earlier worked for many years as a nurse. She maintains a private practice and has supported people with a wide range of concerns, including sexuality, mental health, relationships, gender-related issues, grieving, low self-confidence, family difficulties, abuse and sexual abuse.
She creates a safe and supportive space for clients and draws on a variety of counselling models – including person-centred work, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Gestalt and other approaches – to meet each person where they are.
Helen treats people as individuals and works with warmth and compassion. At the outset she will take time to answer any questions or address doubts about the process.
Counselling can be challenging and requires courage, but it also offers a chance to be kinder to yourself and to breathe. If someone is ready to take that first step, Helen will be available to support them as they move forward.
She looks forward to working with new clients.
Many people ask whether online therapy can make a real difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or managing life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major advantage is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat or in-app messaging. This variety makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
These services are delivered by licensed professionals and therapists, and clients may choose to switch to a different therapist at any time if they want a different fit.
