Welcome to Gina’s Therapeutic Counselling.
I am Gina, a dedicated therapist with a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling with experience in addressing a wide range of mental health issues. My passion lies in supporting you on your journey to healing.
Specialisation
I specialise in anxiety, depression, relationship issues, stress management, trauma and work-related stress. I recognise the unique challenges these experiences bring. My goal is to provide a safe and empathetic space for you to explore your emotions and work towards resilience.
I have over 20 years frontline experience working with those who have experienced trauma and loss. Healing from trauma is a journey and it’s important to go at a pace that’s comfortable for you. I will provide a safe space for you to explore and process your experiences. You are not alone in this. Together, we will work on building coping strategies. Finding healthy ways to manage your emotions and reactions can make a significant difference in your life. Understanding how trauma and loss has affected you can be a powerful tool in moving forward. We can explore this in a way that feels safe for you.
I will work to build a trusting relationship with you which will allow you to feel comfortable discussing your experiences and emotions. You will develop resilience and self-compassion as you go through the healing process.
Training, qualifications & experience
The therapy is all about you and what you want to talk about. I use different types of therapy which will be personalised for you. You will see yourself as someone that can change, even if you feel it is unchangeable. You will be accepted for who you are, not who you feel you should be which is healing.
I update my training on a regular basis and use it in my day to day practice, adapting it to the unique needs of each client I work with. I use skills such as Art Therapy and inner child work.

Many people ask whether online therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions for many people.
One major advantage is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, choosing video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to maintain continuity of care.
Therapists who offer online work are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch to a different therapist if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. For many people, online therapy provides a practical, accessible way to engage in meaningful therapeutic work.
