Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
10 Years Experience
Hello and welcome to my profile.
If you are reading this it may be that you (or someone you know) is currently experiencing some life issues that could benefit from being explored alongside a trained, caring, therapist in a confidential, safe, space.
I understand that it sometimes takes courage to seek help and that there may be certain pre-conceived ideas about therapy/counselling and what it entails. Please rest assured that most therapy clients are just ordinary people like you and me, who are struggling with everyday issues.
I believe that we all have the capacity for personal development and self-growth and that we also have the the ability to reduce emotional suffering and improve our relationships. Sometimes a non-judgemental, caring person may be necessary to help in that process.
I trained as a person-centred psychotherapist at Warwick University, but have also trained in transactional analysis and existential approaches. I am also qualified to offer online and telephone counselling.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
I believe that no one therapeutic approach is suitable for all, so work in a pluralistic way, trying to work alongside my client’s, with an approach that suits them best.
I work with a range of issues, including, anxiety, depression, panic and panic attacks, addiction and compulsion, trauma, relationship issues, emotional, physical and sexual abuse, self-esteem, self-criticism, shame, grief, loss and bereavement.
It may also be that there is a major life change that you would like to work through.
I currently work in private practice in London offering both short and long term counselling/therapy to individuals and couples in a safe, confidential environment.
Due to the ongoing Covid situation, I am currently offering online and telephone counselling.
I have supported people in my private practice, I have also worked in the voluntary sector, for the one of largest UK mental health charities and also the leading bereavement counselling service.
