Chheayudh Chhon

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

Hello, I’m Yut.
If you’ve found me here, you probably need someone to talk to. I’m here to listen and to work with you through whatever you are struggling with.

Perhaps you’re going through something really tough right now, figuring out a big life change, trying to make sense of your past, or just feeling a little lost. Whatever it is that’s brought you here, I provide a warm, supportive, and accepting space for you to share what’s on your mind.
I’m a fully qualified counsellor and registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I know from my own experiences of therapy how powerful it can be to speak without fear of judgement. Whatever it is you’re bringing to counselling my focus will be on building a trusting, honest relationship, ensuring you feel comfortable to share and allowing us to explore even your most difficult thoughts and from there you may find some clarity in moving forward – These could be a sense of calmness, peace, meanings, fulfillment, self-compassion, self-acceptance, self-love, self-awareness, confidence and self-trust…

Prior to qualifying as a counsellor, I worked internationally for many years as a facilitator and meditation and mindfulness teacher during my 17 years of being a Theravada Buddhist monk. This experience not only deeply shaped my own personal growth, but has lent me the ability to connect with clients from all backgrounds and walks of life. As such, I am committed to offering a safe and empathic space where diverse experiences and identities are both welcomed and valued.

In our sessions I may occasionally ask questions, or reflect back to you what I’ve heard. I am able to draw on various therapeutic theories to offer bespoke support. I am able to bring my skills as a meditation and mindfulness practitioner into the therapy room if appropriate.

Is Online Therapy the Right Choice for Your Mental Health Journey?

Many people wonder whether online therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.

One major benefit is flexibility – you can meet with a therapist in the way that suits you best, whether that is by video call, phone, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to choose a communication style that feels comfortable.

All therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and if the fit does not feel right you can switch to a different therapist at any time. Online therapy can provide practical, accessible support for many everyday mental health and relationship concerns.
