Many people ask whether remote counselling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes, remote therapy has been found to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional face-to-face sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to choose the format that feels most comfortable.
All therapists offering online sessions are licensed professionals, and clients are free to change therapists at any time if they would prefer a different fit. For many people, online therapy provides a practical, effective route to support for everyday mental health concerns.
