My name is Brandi Hampshire. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee. I have 10 years experience working with adolescents and teens, alongside their parents. I also have two years experience working with adults in the correctional setting. I have worked with clients with a wide array of issues, including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, OCD, post-traumatic stress disorder, parenting issues, anger management, grief/loss, alcohol and drug issues, personality disorders, and life stressors.
My counseling style is communicative and warm. I emphasize clients’ strengths and life experiences, and encourage the clients as they move through their journeys of self-awareness and personal growth. I draw from a number of methodologies, which are tailored to fit the uniqueness of each individual, couple, or family. Among these are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
It takes courage to reach out and I invite you to take the first step toward change by setting up an appointment to discuss your journey. I am here to support, encourage, and empower you. Once you respond to this message, I will send you some additional general information about how this online counseling process works, and then we can get started.
Should you feel in need of urgent help or that you are in crisis at any time during our work together; please call 911. This forum does not provide any type of emergency services, so I want to be sure you know who to contact if you need immediate help.

Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or adjusting to life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that fits their life and comfort level, whether by video call, phone, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability often makes it easier to attend sessions consistently and integrate counseling into a busy schedule.
These services are provided by licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they feel a different match would be better. Online therapy can be a practical, effective choice for many people seeking support and growth.
