Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello and welcome! My name is Amy and I would like to say thank you for taking the time out to read a bit more about me.
I am a person centred counsellor and I work in a holistic, collaborative and pluralistic way: This may mean that at times I might suggest integrating elements from other modalities, to aid you to where you want to be. I will meet you where you are at right now in life, and ensure you feel safe, heard and accepted. By providing a warm, supportive and welcoming space I can help you work through the feelings you are having at your own pace.
I am a BACP registered Counsellor & Psychotherapist. I have worked with a range of clients who have experienced difficulties including stress, anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship and financial difficulties, domestic violence and sexual abuse. In my private practice, I often work with people experiencing antenatal and post partum difficulties as well as pregnancy, miscarriage, baby loss and abortion. I have nine years of maternity experience working within the NHS and have a particular interest in working with pregnancy and postnatal related issues, birth trauma and grief. I am an accredited practitioner with the Foundation for Infant Loss.
In recent years, I have gained more of a personal interest in neurodiversity; specifically ASD and ADHD. This is mainly due to caring for my child with SEND. As having lived experienced of being a carer, I’m interested in working with clients who are parents/ carers of family members with SEND.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can really help. For a range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and navigating life changes – online therapy can be as effective as traditional face-to-face sessions for most people.
One of the key benefits is flexibility. Clients can connect with therapists in the way that suits them best, choosing video calls, phone conversations, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to access support from home or another convenient location.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals who provide clinical care remotely, and clients have the option to change therapists if they feel a different fit would be better. Online therapy offers a practical and accessible route to professional support for many everyday mental health and life challenges.
