Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Have you ever felt depressed, anxious, or not good enough? Do you ever wonder how to move past a traumatic incident from your past? I work with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, PTSD, self-esteem, grief, and addictions. I am caring, empathic, and hope to help you become the best version of yourself, so that you can live your most fulfilling future! I use a variety of interventions including CBT, DBT, Person-centered focus, solution-based focus, and mindfulness. I decided to become a mental health counselor after becoming a law enforcement officer. I found that the mental health and addictions were not being properly addressed, and many “offenders” needed rehabilitation and therapy, not jail and prison. I have now worked in the mental health/addictions field since 2015. I love being able to help someone realize their full potential, become the best version of themselves, and lead a happy life.
I an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community, and a judgement free zone. I base our sessions on your current issues at hand, and work with you to find what will best help you.
*Please note* I do NOT list all of my available openings on my calendar. Please discuss dates/times with me to set a session.

Amanda Lee is a Georgia-based licensed professional counselor who brings eight years of experience to her clinical work. She specializes in a wide range of concerns including stress, anxiety, addictions, depression, coping with life changes, ADHD, relationship and family conflicts, trauma and abuse, grief, intimacy and parenting issues, anger management, self-esteem, career difficulties, bipolar disorder, and compassion fatigue.
Her path to counseling began after a career in law enforcement, where she observed how mental health and substance use issues were often left unaddressed. That experience inspired her to move into the mental health and addictions field in 2015, with a focus on rehabilitation and therapy rather than punitive responses. Amanda finds professional fulfillment in helping people realize their potential and create more satisfying, stable lives.
Amanda uses a blend of evidence-based methods and client-centered practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), person-centered approaches, solution-focused techniques, and mindfulness. She offers a compassionate, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space and is an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community.
She bases sessions on each person’s current needs and collaborates with clients to find the strategies that will work best for them. Amanda does not list every available opening on her scheduling calendar, so she asks prospective clients to discuss specific dates and times with her when arranging sessions.
