People often ask whether online therapy can genuinely make a difference. For many common issues – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional face-to-face sessions.
A major benefit is the flexibility it offers. Clients can connect with a therapist in the way that feels most comfortable, choosing from video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. That flexibility can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy routine.
Therapists offering online work are licensed professionals, and individuals are free to change therapists at any time if they would like a different fit.
