Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, and welcome.
I’m a warm, empathic therapist with over 25 years of experience helping people navigate life’s challenges. At different times in life, we can all benefit from having someone to talk to—someone who can help us make sense of where we are, how we got here, and where we want to go. I believe we often hold the answers within us; sometimes, we just need the right support to access them.
I’ve worked with a wide range of issues, especially trauma and abuse in all its forms—whether experienced in childhood, adulthood, or both. Trauma doesn’t have to be a “big event”—it’s anything that feels overwhelming or too much to manage at the time. This can lead to struggles with relationships, anxiety, depression, addiction, anger and other challenges
I take a preventative, Integrative approach. I don’t believe a formal diagnosis is always necessary; instead, I focus on helping you understand your emotions and patterns so you can move forward in a more fulfilling way. We’ll always go at your pace—this is your journey, and I’m here to walk alongside you.
I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and bring not only professional experience but also genuine compassion and belief in your capacity for change.
Outside of work, I enjoy time with my family, friends, my Labrador, long walks outdoors, watching horse events, and painting with watercolours.
If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to ask—there’s no such thing as a silly question.

Based in the United Kingdom, Wendy Brook is a warm, empathic therapist with 24 years of experience supporting people through life’s challenges.
She believes that at different points everyone can benefit from having someone to talk to – a steady presence who can help make sense of where you are, how you arrived there, and where you want to go next. Wendy holds that many people carry the answers within themselves and that the right therapeutic support can help those answers become clearer.
Wendy has worked with a broad range of difficulties, with particular experience in trauma and abuse whether experienced in childhood, adulthood, or both. She understands that trauma is not only a single dramatic event but anything that felt overwhelming or too much to cope with at the time. Such experiences can lead to struggles with relationships, anxiety, depression, addiction, anger and other related challenges.
Her approach is integrative and preventative. She does not assume a formal diagnosis is always required; instead she focuses on helping people understand their emotions and patterns so they can move forward in more fulfilling ways. She works at each person’s pace and accompanies clients through their journey rather than directing it.
Wendy is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and combines professional experience with genuine compassion and a belief in each person’s capacity for change.
Outside of her clinical work she enjoys time with family and friends, walks with her Labrador, watching horse events and painting with watercolours.
