Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi, my name is Sophia. I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor with three years counselling experience and nearly 30 years experience in wellbeing, guidance and support work with adults and young people. I hold accredited status, MNCPS (Acc.), with the counselling professional body National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I trained with Heartwood Counselling and Psychotherapy College in Devon and with Devon Counselling College where I completed a specialism at Advanced Level in Working Therapeutically With Young People.
I have supported clients with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, stress, grief and loss, career changes including redundancy, body dysmorphia, relationship issues, LGBTQ+ concerns, neuro-diversity, parenting worries, expressing and managing anger, abuse, loss of motivation and low mood. However I am open to exploring whatever issue(s) are causing you distress.
Starting counselling can be daunting, especially if you are not feeling like your usual self. No matter what has prompted you to consider it, as an integrative counsellor I use a range of approaches to help meet your individual needs; to help clarify your thoughts; access deeper issues and ease distress. This can enable you to make any changes you feel are necessary, deepen your self- awareness, heal, and find acceptance. For therapy to work you need to feel free and comfortable to share your thoughts and feelings, in safe and non-judgemental space. I can promise compassion, empathy, and honesty and I look forward to meeting with you soon.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can make a real difference. For most common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility. Individuals can connect in the way that feels most comfortable to them, whether via video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. That flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to maintain continuity of care.
Each therapist is a licensed professional, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they would prefer a different fit. Online work can offer the same professional support as face-to-face sessions while providing practical choices about how and when to engage.
