Training, qualifications & experience
I am a registered Counsellor with the BACP and have a HND Diploma (2006) in Person Centred counselling as well as a Level 5 Diploma in Relationship therapy (2019) with CPCAB (Counseling & Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body)
Other areas of counseling I deal with
I work with Relationships and the meaning of each person’s own understanding of their up bring. Our upbringing and understanding of everyday life has everything to do with what we have been brought up with in our beliefs, understanding, culturally and systemically. Most importantly, not one upbringing is the same as another which explains common conflict. I work with genograms which are clinical tools to address these matters.
I also work with Bereavement and loss and have a very good understanding of the Gestalt theory around understanding grief and how we may wish to address it, giving respecting to each person’s experience.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most situations.
One significant benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether by video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. That flexibility often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Sessions are provided by licensed professionals and therapists, and clients may change therapist if they prefer a different fit. Online formats make it simple to access regular support without changing the core therapeutic relationship or goals.
