Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I’ve always been intrigued by what motivates us humans to do what we do: After many years of commentating on consumer behaviour in my role as a senior researcher in the corporate world, circumstances led me to seek therapy to help with a crisis in my personal life. Having the support of a therapist and somewhere confidential to explore what was going on for me was transformative. It not only helped me to reconnect with who I really was, it also gave me a desire to live more authentically with those around me.
I am a fully qualified therapist with over 20 years experience working in the corporate sector. I have an MA Degree, a Doctorate, and a Diploma in Psychodynamic therapy. In addition I have trained and worked with Relate, offering couple therapy counselling.
I specialize in working with people experiencing anxiety and low self-esteem, childhood relational trauma, difficulties with assertiveness, exploration of sexual orientation, and identity issues in a faith-based context. I also work frequently with individuals who identify with the LGBTQ+ communities. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
You may be coming to counselling because you are in crisis, unable to see a way through a situation or feeling lost or alone. You might be seeking the ‘right’ answer around a difficult life decision when it feels that making a decision seems impossible. It may have taken many years to find the courage to seek help for issues which run deep, perhaps stemming from difficult, early experiences in childhood or from trauma. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!

Dr. Sarah Enderby has long been fascinated by what motivates human behaviour. After many years working as a senior researcher commenting on consumer behaviour in the corporate world, a personal crisis led her to seek therapy. That experience of having a therapist and a confidential place to explore what was happening proved transformative, helping her reconnect with who she really was and encouraging a desire to live more authentically with others.
She is a fully qualified therapist who holds an MA (master’s degree), a Doctorate (doctoral degree) and a Diploma in Psychodynamic therapy. In addition to over 20 years of experience in the corporate sector, Dr. Enderby has five years of experience providing therapy and has trained and worked with Relate, offering couple therapy counselling.
Dr. Enderby specialises in supporting people dealing with anxiety and low self-esteem, childhood relational trauma, difficulties with assertiveness, exploration of sexual orientation, and identity concerns in a faith-based context. She also works frequently with individuals who identify with LGBTQ+ communities. In her work she aims to create an open, non-judgemental space where thoughts and feelings can be shared and explored.
People come to her for many reasons: they may be in crisis, struggling to see a way forward, feeling lost or alone, or seeking the right answer around a difficult life decision. Others arrive after many years before finding the courage to address deep issues that may stem from early childhood experiences or trauma. Dr. Enderby recognises that taking the first step into therapy takes courage.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can genuinely help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or managing life changes, online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility – you can meet your therapist in the way that suits you best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule or to access support from different locations.
Therapists offering online sessions are licensed professionals, and if the fit does not feel right you have the option to switch to a different therapist. For many people this combination of effectiveness and convenience makes online therapy a practical choice for addressing everyday mental health and relationship concerns.
