Ruth Frances

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

I am a qualified and BACP Registered Person-Centred Counsellor. I have extensive experience working in Bereavement as well as with depression, anxiety and those affected by cancer. I work on a one-to-one basis offering both short and long term therapy.

I aim to build a trusting, warm and non-judgemental therapeutic relationship with the hope that you will feel comfortable to talk about things that might be difficult to talk about with those close to you for whatever reason. Starting counselling can be daunting but also a real step towards whatever goal you may have when looking for a therapist.

Outside my private client work, I have worked with Cruse Bereavement Care and Macmillan, where I have done further training within the respective fields as well as undertaking CPD within these organizations to further my professional development. Working within these organizations has been a wonderful and rewarding experience, where I have worked with a diverse range of clients.

Is Online Therapy the Right Fit for Your Needs?

Many people wonder whether remote sessions can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or managing life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person work for most cases. A major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the format that suits them best, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to engage in whichever way feels most comfortable. All sessions are provided by licensed professionals and you have the option to change therapists if you prefer a different fit. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible and effective route to support and progress.
