Phaidra-Polyxeni (Xenia) Kaspar is a fully qualified, credentialled counsellor based in the South of the UK. She combines professional training with personal understanding, drawing on her own experiences of trauma, grief and neurodiversity to inform a compassionate approach to therapy.
As a single mother of three teenage daughters and an adult son, she understands the practical pressures of family life and offers support to individuals, couples and groups. She also leads group sessions in Mindfulness, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Non Violent Resistance, and she works as a CPCAB-approved counselling tutor.
Her clinical experience includes supporting people with stress and anxiety, relationship difficulties, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, depression and grief, among other challenges. She treats everyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion, tailoring sessions to each person’s specific needs and working collaboratively to help clients reach their goals. Taking the first step to request therapy is often brave, and she acknowledges and supports that courage.
Many people ask whether therapy delivered online can genuinely help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or managing life transitions, research and clinical practice indicate that remote therapy often works as well as in-person care.
Online therapy also offers substantial practical benefits – most notably flexibility. Clients can choose the contact method that suits them best, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging, which can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Therapists providing online services are licensed professionals, and if a different style or fit is needed it is possible to switch to another therapist. For many people, virtual sessions provide an effective and convenient way to get support when they need it.
