Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
“When I was 8, I was diagnosed with ADHD and a learning disorder. Support from people around me saved my life from suicidal thoughts and anxiety, and today I hope I can be your support as well.”
My goal as your therapist is to help you tap into your inner resources, find greater clarity and purpose, and ultimately live a more fulfilling life.
Hi, I’m Dr. Pannavat Veeraburinon—but please feel free to call me “Palm,” my nickname. I’m a Counselling Psychologist registered with the HCPC and a BACP-registered psychotherapist in the UK.
My heritage—rooted in Thai, Vietnamese, Laotian, and Chinese cultures—along with experience from over 4,000 counselling sessions, has shaped my deep appreciation for diversity, family dynamics, and the many ways people experience the world. I’ve had the privilege of working with clients from all walks of life—from executive directors to apprentices, and from partners to parents—across the UK, Europe, the USA, Ghana, Turkey, India, South Korea, Singapore, and Thailand.
Being bilingual and multicultural myself allows me to meet clients with openness, flexibility, and sensitivity—especially when their cultural perspectives differ from my own. I’ve supported children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, many of whom were navigating PTSD, OCD, ADHD, autism spectrum conditions, depression, burnout, or high anxiety, among other challenges.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. You are unique, therefore, counselling is a very personal and subjective experience, and I will work with you to develop an integrated therapeutic approach that is tailored specifically to your needs.
During the session, I’ll apply an integrated therapeutic approach that blends Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) methods, alongside mindfulness practices to assist you in resolving the difficulties that have been affecting you. I serve as an honest mirror, allowing you to view your issues and goals more clearly as they are. I recognise that embarking on a therapeutic journey can be a daunting experience, and I am committed to creating a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts and emotions. However, I also understand that true growth often requires stepping outside of our comfort zones. With your permission, I will gently ask thought-provoking questions, reflect on them, and offer practical tools and techniques to help you achieve your goals and intentions. I may also challenge your thoughts and perspectives, but always with the intention of providing holistic perspectives that you may not have considered before.
I completed my doctorate in Counselling Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University, after earning a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Stirling in the UK. I was honoured to be selected as a fellow—and now serve as a mentor—for the Dalai Lama Fellows program at the University of Virginia. There, I guided mind training practices focused on developing self-awareness, self-care, resilience, mindful decision-making, and building connection across differences. Many of the fellows I supported were directors and changemakers leading organisations around the world. In 2020, I also completed a certificate in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) for Life from the Oxford Mindfulness Centre at the University of Oxford.
In addition to clinical practice, I serve as a Global Inclusive Council Member for a major mental health organisation, supporting provider programming, growth, and retention across 500 organisations in over 200 countries. Responsibilities include advising clinical recruiting teams, shaping engagement strategies, enhancing the organisation’s UK presence, and reviewing public relations from a culturally relevant, client-focused perspective. This role strengthens my ability to deliver culturally competent and globally informed care.
Furthermore, I have presented webinars and seminars on various psychological topics to corporate audiences, including employees at Microsoft and Hitachi, as well as managers and entrepreneurs at professional conferences and online forums. I have contributed expert insights to media features on CNBC News.
I generally check messages here in the morning and afternoon, Monday – Friday, and respond as quickly as I can. If you prefer, you can also book a live session with me ahead of time.
I look forward to working with you!

At eight years old Dr. Pannavat Veeraburinon was diagnosed with ADHD and a learning disorder. Support from people around him helped him move through suicidal thoughts and severe anxiety, and he now aims to offer that same kind of life‑saving support to others.
His goal as a therapist is to help clients access their inner resources, gain greater clarity and purpose, and build a more fulfilling life. He uses a collaborative approach that respects each person as unique and tailors interventions to meet individual needs.
Dr. Veeraburinon is a Counselling Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a psychotherapist registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). He completed a doctorate in Counselling Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University and holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Stirling. He also completed a certificate in Mindfulness‑Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) for Life at the Oxford Mindfulness Centre, University of Oxford.
He was selected as a fellow for the Dalai Lama Fellows program and now mentors there at the University of Virginia, guiding mind‑training practices that focus on self‑awareness, self‑care, resilience, mindful decision‑making, and building connection across differences. In addition, he serves as a Global Inclusive Council Member for a major mental health organisation, supporting provider programming, growth, and retention across 500 organisations in over 200 countries, and advising on clinical recruiting, engagement strategy, UK presence, and culturally informed public relations.
Rooted in Thai, Vietnamese, Laotian, and Chinese cultures and working bilingually in English and Thai, Dr. Veeraburinon brings cultural sensitivity and flexibility to his practice. Across more than 4,000 counselling sessions and five years of professional practice he has supported people from executive directors to apprentices, partners to parents, and clients in the UK, Europe, the USA, Ghana, Turkey, India, South Korea, Singapore, and Thailand.
His clinical work commonly addresses issues such as PTSD, OCD, ADHD, autism spectrum conditions, depression, burnout, high anxiety, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. He applies an integrated therapeutic framework – blending Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person‑Centred Therapy, and Internal Family Systems, alongside mindfulness practices – and offers a candid, compassionate space where he may gently challenge perspectives, ask thought‑provoking questions, and provide practical tools to support change.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or coping with life changes, remote therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in‑person sessions.
One of the main benefits is convenience and flexibility. Clients can connect in the format that suits them best – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in‑app messaging – which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule or to continue care when in‑person visits are difficult.
All therapists offering remote sessions are licensed professionals, and if the fit does not feel right it is possible to switch to a different therapist at any time. For many people, online therapy delivers meaningful progress while offering the practical advantages of distance and scheduling flexibility.
