Michele Findley is a neurodivergent-affirming, licensed therapist practising in the United Kingdom with seven years of clinical experience. She offers compassionate, respectful support for people facing a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship and family difficulties, grief, self-esteem challenges, addictions, bipolar disorder, ADHD and coping with life changes.
As an EMDR therapist, Michele provides targeted treatment for PTSD, complex trauma and abuse. She also applies EMDR in addressing phobias, social anxiety, panic disorder and related difficulties when appropriate.
Michele tailors conversations and treatment plans to each person’s needs, working with issues such as worry, intrusive thoughts, low self-worth, persistent sadness, anger management, addiction, feeling lost and relationship problems. She also supports people managing long-term conditions and unexplained illnesses, and offers coaching and help with career, parenting, eating and sleeping concerns, intimacy-related issues, compassion fatigue and other life stressors. Michele works with LGBT clients and is identified in her practice as a female therapist who can support gay and older adults as needed.
Michele approaches therapy with sensitivity and genuine compassion, and she provides a safe, supportive space for exploration and growth. She recognises that starting therapy takes courage and partners with each person to move toward greater wellbeing and fulfilment.
For many common concerns - such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or managing life transitions - online therapy can be just as effective as traditional in-person care.
One major benefit is flexibility. People can connect with their therapist in whatever format suits them best - video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging - which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Sessions are delivered by licensed professionals, and clients may change therapists at any time if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. Online therapy offers a practical way to access skilled support for everyday mental health challenges and relationship issues while maintaining the structure and continuity of regular sessions.
