Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi, I’m Megan — a Person-Centred and Pluralistic Counsellor (BACP Registered)
I’m a warm, compassionate therapist who believes that no two people are the same — and your therapy shouldn’t be either. I take a pluralistic and person-centred approach, which means I tailor each session to you and your needs, offering a flexible, collaborative, and respectful space where you can feel heard, seen, and supported.
I’m a BACP-registered counsellor with a Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Keele. I’ve spent the past three years helping clients explore anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, identity, relationship struggles, and more.
My Areas of Focus Include:
Anxiety & Depression
Trauma and Abuse Recovery
Relationship Challenges (including non-monogamy and polyamory)
Self-Esteem and Motivation
Disordered Eating / Binge Eating
Chronic Illness and Mental Health
I’m also a sex-positive, kink-aware, and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, and I bring curiosity, openness, and non-judgment into every session. You won’t have to explain or justify your identity, lifestyle, or values here.
How I Work
I’ll work with you to find the style of therapy that suits you best. I might ask:
Would you like to set goals for therapy?
Do you prefer to talk freely, or would you like me to ask more questions or set tasks?
Do you want to focus on the past or the present?
Would it help if I explained counselling theory as we go?
Together, we’ll find an approach that feels safe, helpful, and right for you.
Let’s Talk
If you’re navigating stress, trauma, life transitions, identity questions, or just feeling stuck, I’d be honoured to support you. Therapy is your space — let’s make it one that truly works for you.

Megan Clarke is a warm, compassionate counsellor who works from person-centred and pluralistic perspectives, tailoring each session to the individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. She offers a flexible, collaborative and respectful space where people can feel heard, seen and supported.
She is a BACP-registered counsellor – a recognised professional registration – and holds a Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Keele. Over the past three years she has supported people with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse recovery, self-esteem and identity issues, relationship challenges including non-monogamy and polyamory, disordered eating and binge eating, chronic illness and its mental health impact, grief, family and parenting concerns, intimacy-related issues, sleeping difficulties, anger, career questions, compassion fatigue and coping with life changes.
Megan works in a sex-positive, kink-aware way and affirms LGBTQIA+ identities. She is a female therapist who is gay, non-religious and identifies as liberal. Her pluralistic, person-centred practice means she will collaborate with each person to find the most helpful style of therapy, adapting how sessions run to suit preferences and needs.
In the first conversations she will explore practical questions such as whether to set goals for therapy, whether the person prefers more open conversation or a structured approach with tasks and questions, and whether to focus on past experiences or present-day issues. She can also explain counselling theory as the work progresses if that would be useful.
If someone is navigating stress, trauma, life transitions, identity questions or simply feeling stuck, Megan offers support and practical, person-focused therapy to help them move forward.
