Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi there! My name is Meekah and I am a psychotherapist and Christian Counselor. I specialize in women’s mental health issues even though I have a diverse clientele who believe different things. I incorporate prayer into our sessions. I also enjoy sharing scriptures from the Bible with clients as a tool of encouragement as well if they feel it will be motivational. My faith has been a significant foundation along my own inner healing journey from anxiety and I am more than happy to share that testimony with you if you think it will help you heal in some small way.The resilience of human beings and our ability to grow has always captivated me. I have training in CBT and some Christian Counseling training. I received my BA in psychology and then my Masters from Columbia University in 2008 and my birth doula certification from DONA International and I am Lamaze trained.I tend to use an interpersonal and client strength focused approach when helping my clients process unresolved issues related to being a caregiver, depression, stress management, self-esteem issues and anxiety. I have been practicing as a psychotherapist for more than 20 years. I have worked in various hospital settings throughout New York City. In my spare time, I enjoy international travel, singing, cooking, spending time with family, friends and exploring the outdoors when possible. Looking forward to helping you along your healing breakthrough journey! Let’s chat to see if my services would be a good fit.

Meekah Reeves is a psychotherapist and Christian counselor based in New York with 25 years of clinical experience. She holds a Master’s degree from Columbia University (2008) and is a licensed clinical social worker (NY LCSW 085643). She also earned a BA in psychology, holds a birth doula certification from DONA International, and is Lamaze trained.
She focuses on women’s mental health while serving a diverse clientele who hold a range of beliefs. Her own faith played a meaningful role in her personal recovery from anxiety, and she offers her testimony to clients who find it helpful for their healing process.
Clinically, she is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy and has additional training in Christian counseling. Meekah tends to use an interpersonal, strength-focused approach to help people work through unresolved issues related to caregiving roles, depression, stress management, self-esteem, and anxiety. She has worked in various hospital settings throughout New York City.
Outside of practice, she enjoys international travel, singing, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and exploring the outdoors when possible. She looks forward to supporting clients through their healing and growth journeys and welcomes an initial conversation to determine fit.
For many common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and life transitions – online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person care. Research and practice indicate strong outcomes for these everyday mental health challenges.
One major benefit is flexibility. Clients can connect in the format that fits their schedule and comfort level – through video visits, phone conversations, live chat, or in-app messaging. This variety makes it easier to maintain consistent care amid busy routines.
All participating clinicians are licensed professionals, and clients may request a different therapist at any time if they prefer another fit. Online therapy offers a convenient way to access skilled therapists while keeping the same professional standards as in-person practice.
