Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or adjusting to life changes – can respond well to remote therapy, and research shows that online sessions are comparable to in-person work for these issues. A major benefit is flexibility. People can choose the format that fits them best – video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life. Therapy delivered remotely is provided by licensed professionals, and if someone feels they need a different match they can switch therapists at any time. For many, online therapy offers an effective and convenient way to access support without changing the core qualities of talking therapy.
