Felicia Cameron is a qualified cognitive behavioural therapist, licensed through the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and has been practising since 2013.
She has worked with people facing a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, bereavement, trauma, adverse childhood experiences, obsessive-compulsive tendencies, ADHD, and experiences of abuse - including domestic, emotional and psychological abuse.
Felicia adopts a non-judgemental stance and is an attentive listener who aims for compassionate, positive outcomes. She combines professional skills with life experience to understand how thoughts, feelings and behaviours interact, using a CBT approach to support change.
Felicia looks forward to working with individuals once they are ready to take the first step.
Many people ask whether online therapy can make a real difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or managing life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility - individuals can choose the format that fits their life and comfort level, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility helps make therapy more accessible and easier to fit around everyday commitments.
Sessions are offered by licensed professionals, and anyone can change therapists if they prefer a different fit. For many people, online therapy provides a practical, effective way to work on mental health and wellbeing without changing the core therapeutic process.
