Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I have been a counselor for 24 years. I believe that counseling needs to be eclectic in order to best serve and support. I’m honored to have had rich clinical experience in Domestic Violence, Childhood Neglect and Dependence, Adoptions, Youth and Adult Developmental Disabilities, Addictions, Adolescent Conduct Disorder, Mental Health Disorders, and Veteran’s Concerns.
Counseling must be tailored to the consumer and the counseling model must follow suit. I find that Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) works well with most; however, I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy for Depression (ITP-D), Mindfulness, and Narrative Therapy.
I am here to help my clients through current situational stressors or past trauma that impacts how they experience the world. Let’s work together at your pace in order to create a meaningful today and joyful tomorrow!

Elyse Bloch brings 24 years of clinical experience to her counseling practice in Ohio. She is an Ohio-licensed independent social worker who also serves as a clinical supervisor (OH LISW I.0700321-SUPV), and she approaches therapy with a respectful, client-centered sensibility.
She values an eclectic approach – matching techniques and interventions to each person’s needs rather than applying a single method to everyone. Elyse regularly draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy for Depression (ITP-D), mindfulness practices, and narrative therapy to support change and healing.
Her clinical background includes work in domestic violence, childhood neglect and dependence, adoptions, youth and adult developmental disabilities, addictions, adolescent conduct disorder, a range of mental health disorders, and veteran concerns. She also works with a wide variety of presenting issues including stress, anxiety, addictions, trauma and abuse, grief, depression, relationship and family conflicts, eating and sleeping disorders, parenting concerns, anger management, self-esteem, career difficulties, bipolar disorder, coping with life changes, compassion fatigue, and ADHD.
Elyse focuses on helping people address both current situational stressors and past trauma that influence how they experience everyday life. She works collaboratively with clients at their own pace to help create a meaningful today and a more joyful tomorrow.
Many people wonder whether connecting with a therapist online can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, online therapy can be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the mode of communication that fits their life, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to attend sessions without rearranging as much of one’s schedule.
Therapists who provide online care are licensed professionals, and if a client decides they would prefer a different fit, they may switch therapists at any time. For many people, online therapy offers a practical, effective way to address everyday challenges and work toward meaningful change.
