Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, I’m Debbie – welcome.
I’m a warm, down-to-earth, and trauma-informed therapist with a deep commitment to helping people feel seen, heard, and supported. I offer a safe, compassionate space where you can explore what’s going on for you – at your pace, in your own way.
With many years of experience, I work with adults and young people navigating a range of issues, including trauma, anxiety, low mood, grief, relationship struggles, and life transitions. I also have specialist experience supporting neurodivergent individuals. Alongside my therapeutic practice, I have held senior clinical and academic roles, which has given me a broad understanding of how people adapt, cope, and grow through life’s challenges.
My approach is client-centred and integrative, which means I tailor our work together to suit your unique needs. I draw on evidence-based approaches like CBT and mindfulness, grounded in empathy, authenticity, and a belief in your potential for growth. I am also trained and experienced in both online and telephone therapy, so whether we meet on screen or by voice, you can expect the same safe, supportive space.
When it feels right, I enjoy incorporating creativity into therapy – through imagery, metaphor, or reflective exercises – to support expression and healing in ways that go beyond words. I also believe that caring for yourself is a vital part of recovery, and I support clients in finding sustainable ways to build resilience, balance, and self-compassion.
If you’re looking for someone to walk alongside you with care, curiosity, and genuine understanding – you’re in the right place. Feel free to reach out for a confidential conversation.
PLEASE NOTE – I do not keep diary appts open on this system so that I can avoid diary clashes. If you feel we might work well together then please contact me via the platform and we can agree a session time. I will then add it to BH platform.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For a range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and coping with life changes – online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
A major benefit is flexibility. Clients can connect in the way that suits them best: via video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This range of options can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to access support from wherever you are.
Sessions are delivered by licensed professionals, and if you decide you would prefer a different match you can switch therapists at any time. Online therapy offers an accessible and adaptable route to professional support for many common mental health and life challenges.
