Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a person centered (client centered) therapist in the UK with 6 years of practice experience. Prior to that I volunteered with a bereavement charity specialising in providing one to one face to face support to those experiencing issues with bereavement and loss.
I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, bereavement and loss.
I am what might be described as a more ‘mature’ counsellor, having spent many years working in other fields and gaining much life experience before training as a counsellor. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I will treat everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My core approach is person centered, which believes in offering all clients empathy, and a non-judgemental experience. I will use other approaches as the need may arise such as cognitive-behavioural.
My approach believes that everyone has the capability to make the changes and improvements they wish to make to lead them to a happier way of living, when the correct environment and support is provided for them.

David Jones is a person-centered therapist based in the United Kingdom with six years of practice experience. Before training as a counsellor he volunteered with a bereavement charity, providing one-to-one, face-to-face support to people coping with bereavement and loss.
He has worked with clients presenting depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, and bereavement and loss. He also supports people with stress, addictions, family matters, trauma and abuse, intimacy-related concerns, eating and sleeping difficulties, anger, low self-esteem, and coping with life changes.
Describing himself as a more mature counsellor, he brings life experience from many years in other fields to his therapeutic work. His style is warm and interactive, and he treats everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. His core approach is person-centered, offering empathy and a non-judgemental space, and he will draw on other methods such as cognitive-behavioural approaches when they are helpful. He believes that with the right environment and support, people have the capability to make the changes they wish and move toward a happier way of living.
Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For many common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility. Clients can connect in the way that suits them best: via video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to choose the mode of communication that feels most comfortable.
Therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and it is possible to switch to a different therapist if a different fit is preferred. Online therapy can be a practical and effective option for many people seeking support for everyday mental health concerns.
