Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My passion for helping people goes back as far as I can remember. From a young age, I read self-help books, joined events related to personal development and eventually I graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2011 with a First Class degree in Humanistic Counselling.
By now, I have years of experience working with people who seek help for anxiety and depression. However, there is always a reason for anxiety or depression and with that, every other feeling and emotion. Because of that, I have been working with a vast variety of issues, difficulties and suffering that underpin each and every person’s struggles.
The way I work is that I will look at you as a whole person, the one who has all the answers, knowledge and wisdom you will ever need to know to a live healthy, happy and fulfilling life. If you are struggling, suffering or hurting, it is clear that there are blocks that stop you from being able to access that wisdom and it is always found in your past experiences. Because all the answers and wisdom are within you, I don’t have them. No one does. You are the one and only who can ever access them. It isn’t my job to tell anyone what to do, how to do it or if to do it. My job is to help you to identify those blocks, to help you to find ways to remove them and to help you to gain access to your very own answers, knowledge and wisdom.
Together we will look at how humans function and what is important to us. We will look at the difficulties you would like to process, how those have come about and with that you’ll gain your own answers on how to move forwards. From our work together you will gain a better understanding of the self, you will gain greater self acceptance, self awareness, self belief and self confidence. All that leads to a happier, healthier and more fulfilling life.
I look forward to working with you.

Daiga Denton has been drawn to helping others from an early age, reading self-help books and attending personal development events before training formally in counselling. She graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2011 with a First Class degree in Humanistic Counselling.
Across 8 years of practice she has supported people seeking help for anxiety and depression, and the variety of feelings and difficulties that underpin those struggles. She works with a broad range of issues and recognises that every person brings a unique combination of experiences and emotional responses.
Her approach treats each person as a whole – someone who already holds the knowledge and wisdom needed to live a healthier, more fulfilling life. Where that wisdom feels out of reach, she looks to the blocks often rooted in past experience and helps clients identify and work through them. Rather than prescribing solutions, she supports people to uncover their own answers and to find practical ways to remove obstacles that keep them stuck.
Through collaborative work with Daiga clients can develop greater self-understanding, increased self-acceptance, enhanced self-awareness, and improved self-belief and confidence, all contributing to a happier, healthier life. She looks forward to working with you.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can make a real difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A key advantage is flexibility – you can connect with a therapist in the way that suits you best, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. That range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to choose the communication style you find most comfortable.
Therapists offering online support are licensed professionals, and you have the option to switch therapists if you prefer a different fit. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible, effective route to getting help for everyday mental health and relationship concerns.
