Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi there my name is Claudia! I am a counsellor working within the UK and have been practicing as a counsellor for 3 years now.
This may seem very young in the therapy world but I assure you with a MSc in Counselling at Bangor University and a range of client experience I have a lot to bring to the table in the counselling world.
I have been trained in an integrative approach meaning I use theories such as person centered, cognitive, behavioral and psychodynamic approaches within the counselling sessions, but mainly i conduct the sessions in a person centered way meaning I can create a safe environment in which you will feel comfortable to describe your struggles/ life to me.
I understand the first step of coming to therapy is very difficult and I believe that this step is to be made when you are ready and I can be here to support, comfort and allow you to explore these feelings in a non-judgmental and secure environment. I am aware that the rule ‘one size fits all’ doesn’t apply in therapy and that is why I work fluidly so that you can have the best experience and we can create a good therapeutic relationship.
I have experience working with; Weight, Body Issues, Trauma, Rape, Sexual Abuse, Anxiety, Depression, Childhood Issues, Children, Relationship Issues, ADHD, Autism, Greif, Bereavement and Suicidal thoughts.
I see therapy as going to the gym but for the mind – I look forward to meeting you!

Claudia Edwards is a counsellor based in the United Kingdom with 5 years of experience. She holds an MSc in Counselling from Bangor University and combines that academic training with a broad range of client work.
Trained in an integrative approach, Claudia draws on person-centered, cognitive, behavioral, and psychodynamic ideas, delivering sessions mainly in a person-centered way so clients can feel listened to and understood. She focuses on creating an empathetic, non-judgmental space where people can talk openly about their lives and struggles.
Claudia understands that taking the first step into therapy can be hard, and she believes that starting should happen when a person feels ready. She aims to support and comfort clients while helping them explore difficult feelings, adapting her methods rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model to ensure the best fit and a strong therapeutic relationship.
Her experience covers a wide range of issues, including weight and body concerns, trauma such as rape and sexual abuse, anxiety, depression, childhood difficulties, work with children, relationship problems, ADHD, autism, grief and bereavement, and suicidal thoughts. She also works with stress, family issues, eating and self-esteem concerns, addictions, LGBT and gay clients, intimacy-related problems, sleep difficulties, anger, career challenges, bipolar disorder, coping with life changes, coaching, and compassion fatigue.
Claudia likens therapy to going to the gym for the mind and looks forward to meeting clients.
Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For a range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and navigating life changes – online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major advantage is flexibility. Clients can connect in the way that suits them best – by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and if a client feels a different fit would be better, it is possible to switch therapists. This approach offers practical options for accessing support while maintaining the same professional standards as face-to-face care.
