Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, I’m Claire, a person-centred therapist, working from my counselling studio at home in Gosport, England, on-line, and on the phone.
You might be here because you have a particular problem you want help with, or simply because you are interested in learning more about yourself.
My aim, as your therapist, is to help you to understand your own needs and wants and to find a way through. I won’t offer you advice, or tell you what to do, because I believe that you already have the answers within you – together we can get to these answers and help you to feel what you really feel and to be the person you deserve to be. I can provide a safe space to work through your thoughts and feelings and to accompany you on your journey.
I am DBS checked, fully insured and a registered member, of the BACP membership number 393095. I work within the BACP ethical guidelines.

Claire Bennett BA (hons) MBACP is a person-centred therapist who works from her counselling studio at home in Gosport, England, and who also offers support online and by phone. She has four years of professional experience and sees people for a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, trauma and abuse, grief, self-esteem, depression, addictions, eating and sleeping difficulties, anger, career issues, bipolar, ADHD, compassion fatigue, and coping with life changes.
Her approach is grounded in the person-centred model – she aims to help clients explore and understand their own needs and wants rather than giving advice or directing decisions. Claire seeks to help people access their own answers, to identify and feel what they truly feel, and to move toward being the person they deserve to be. She provides a calm, supportive space in which clients can work through thoughts and feelings and be accompanied on their journey.

Many people ask whether online therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, online therapy is often as effective as traditional in-person work.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, using video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
All therapists involved are licensed professionals, and if someone feels they need a different fit they are able to switch therapists. Online formats can offer a practical route to regular therapeutic work without requiring travel or scheduling around commuting.
