Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Currently my therapy plans are focused on female clients only. The foundation of my therapeutic approach is a combination between Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy with an implementation of Creative Arts. My sessions are forward focused in which the treatment plan is focused on areas of growth. With that said every treatment plan created is personalized for the individual based on their needs, wants and symptoms. Therefore, additional therapies are at times added to treatment if needed for specific symptoms or by request. Such as treatments for trauma or phobia. Additionally, my therapy is not limited to present and future, but having a mentally stable present and future is the overall goal. A good portion of sessions are revisiting the past and understanding how different habits, patterns and coping mechanisms were created. Once those discoveries are made and acknowledge the process begins to reshape them into healthier habits, patterns and coping skills.

Cherish Brooks focuses her practice on working with female clients, tailoring care to address concerns such as stress, anxiety, trauma and abuse, depression, coping with life changes, relationship and family conflicts, grief, parenting and career difficulties, and issues like ADHD and compassion fatigue. She also offers coaching and support for LGBT clients and helps with self-esteem and coping strategies.
Her therapeutic approach blends cognitive behavioral therapy with solution-focused techniques and incorporates creative arts as a practical component of treatment. Sessions emphasize forward movement, concentrating on areas of growth while remaining responsive to each person’s unique needs, goals, and symptoms.
Treatment plans are individualized; when specific symptoms require it, additional therapies may be introduced by request or clinical need, including treatments for trauma or specific phobias. Although the work is future-oriented, a significant portion of therapy may revisit past experiences to identify how habits, patterns, and coping mechanisms developed.
Once those patterns are acknowledged, the focus shifts to reshaping them into healthier habits and skills. Brooks brings ten years of experience to her practice and is licensed to practice in Texas as a psychological associate (license TX LPA 38184), serving clients throughout the state.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can produce meaningful results. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person care for most people.
A major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that works best for them, including video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability often makes it easier to maintain regular appointments and integrate therapy into a busy schedule.
Licensed professionals provide care remotely, and if someone feels another therapist might be a better fit, switching providers is an option. Online therapy can be a practical, effective way to address many everyday mental health concerns while fitting treatment into one’s life.
