Her postgraduate research during an MSc in Psychology covered developmental psychology and attachment styles, individual differences and personality traits, cognitive psychology with a focus on attention, childhood trauma and experiences, and social identity and society. Her master’s thesis investigated “The Effect of Individual Differences on the Ability to Accurately Detect Deception: An Investigation of Emotional Intelligence and Recognition of Facial Emotion.” Her first-class BSc (Hons) included study of pain management such as fibromyalgia and living with chronic pain, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and diabetes management, with a thesis comparing antidepressants with exercise treatment for major depression.
