Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi, my name is Catherine.
I’m an Integrative Counsellor based in the UK and an Accredited member of the BACP (British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists)
I have experience working for the NHS, a local children’s centre with parents and in my own Private practice supporting adults both short and long term with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, loss, parenting , caring and relationship issues. On top of this I work for a charity supporting workers in the construction industry with their mental health.
Although I support clients from all areas and walks of life I have a special interest in Neurodiversity and the way that this affects mental health.
I also have experience working in schools with parents of children with special educational needs. I have a warm and down to earth manner and put your needs first.
Sometimes it is easy to feel overwhelmed by life. Sometimes the road gets rough and we struggle to hold it all together and the things we always used to find so easy suddenly feel impossible. Maybe you have never really spoke to anyone about the way you feel or you are not sure if your problems are ‘important enough’ to seek counselling.
Most people in therapy are in fact struggling with everyday issues such as stress, anxiety and depression; you are not the only one. I believe your issues are important and so are your feelings. You have the right to peace in your life.
Some people may want to change specific aspects of their lives or may need help to manage major life changes such as the breakdown of a relationship or loss of a loved one.
Does this sound like you? I can help; talking things over with a trained professional outside of your family and friends can help you to find clarity, feel calmer, more in control, help you to make decisions without feeling guilty and give you a sense of self-worth and purpose.
