Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi, I’m Ben – a psychotherapist with a master’s degree and over 10 years of experience working with individuals and couples.
You might be here because something isn’t quite sitting right – in your relationships, your sense of self, or the stories you carry. Maybe you’ve done the “talking to friends” thing, or even had therapy before, but you’re looking for something with more depth, more edge, and more honesty.
My style is warm, grounded, and engaged, but I’m not afraid to challenge you gently when something needs to be named. I’ll never push you before you’re ready, but I won’t just nod along either. If something feels stuck, we’ll look at it together.
I work integratively, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, family systems theory, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). That’s a fancy way of saying: we’ll make sense of your patterns, trace where they come from, and figure out what actually helps now — not just what made sense in the past.
I’m especially experienced in working with relationship difficulties (including with self), grief, addiction, anxiety, low self-worth, and identity questions. Whether you’re carrying something old or navigating something new, therapy with me is about creating a space where all of that gets to exist without judgement, and without the pressure to perform.
The practice I hold is diverse in terms of ethnicity, sexuality, culture, and gender identity. Thus, I actively take into account the surrounding structures that be, and am mindful of how they interact with the client’s current or ongoing struggles.
If you’re looking for a therapist who listens closely, asks real questions, and doesn’t just hand you a worksheet and a smile – we might be a good fit.
Finding the right counsellor for you is imperative, as the relationship between counsellor and client is key. Whether you decide to work with me or with another counsellor, it takes courage and bravery to seek therapy – for the first time, or for an additional round. As such, be proud of making it this far, as you are taking active steps toward healing. From the bottom of my heart, best of luck during your search; and if you decide to see me, I’d be glad to meet you.

Benjamin Ng is a psychotherapist with a master’s degree and over 10 years of experience working with individuals and couples.
People often seek him out when something does not feel right – whether in relationships, in their sense of self, or in the stories they carry. Some have tried talking with friends or had therapy before and are now looking for more depth, sharper honesty, and a practical edge.
His approach is warm, grounded, and engaged. He will gently challenge what needs to be named, without pushing someone before they are ready, and he will not simply nod along. When things feel stuck, he works alongside clients to explore what is happening.
Benjamin practices integratively, drawing on psychodynamic therapy, family systems theory, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In plain terms, this means making sense of recurring patterns, tracing where they come from, and deciding what actually helps in the present rather than only focusing on the past.
He has particular experience supporting people with relationship difficulties – including difficulties with the self – grief, addiction, anxiety, low self-worth, and questions of identity. Therapy with him is intended to be a space where these issues can exist without judgement and without pressure to perform.
His practice is diverse across ethnicity, sexuality, culture, and gender identity, and he actively takes into account the wider structures that shape a person’s experience and how these interact with current struggles.
Benjamin listens closely, asks direct and meaningful questions, and does not simply hand out worksheets and a smile. He emphasises the importance of the relationship between counsellor and client as central to progress.
Whether someone is seeking therapy for the first time or returning for another round, Benjamin recognises the courage involved in making that step. He welcomes the opportunity to meet those who decide to work with him and supports people in finding the right counsellor for their needs.
Many people wonder whether therapy delivered online can really help. For a range of common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, or navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One major advantage is flexibility. People can connect using the method that suits them best – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Therapists offering online work are licensed professionals, and you have the option to switch to a different clinician if you feel a different fit would be better. For many, online therapy provides a practical and effective route to consistent support while managing day-to-day commitments.
