Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am licensed in Florida, Vermont and West Virginia with 9 years of professional work experience in psychotherapy. I have experience in helping clients with anxiety and depression, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, personality and mood disorders & coping with grief and loss. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
I am passionate about my clients progress and work hard to integrate evidence-based, clinically proven methodologies into every therapy session. Whether you are struggling with stress and anxiety and would benefit from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or a Solutions Focused Therapy approach, or you are trying to find a way to live with personality disorders and historical life trauma and would make great progress with a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy or Cognitive Processing Therapy approach, I am confident that my knowledge and practice experience can help you achieve any goal you set your mind to.
When you work with me you will regularly hear me ask about what you are doing for self care as I am a firm believer that you can’t meet anyone else’s needs unless your own needs are met first. To show you that I practice what I preach, I can share with you that here in Vermont in the summertime I am a part of a Women’s Slow-pitch Softball team and won the state championship with my team a year ago! I also regularly enjoy ice fishing on Lake Champlain in the winter time and typically on the weekends you will find me sitting on an upside down bucket with an ice fishing rod in my hand on the ice. Additionally, a funny fact about me is that I can eat an entire watermelon in one sitting! I am down to earth and a straight-shooter when it comes to advice.
I am compassionate and empathetic but I will also tell you what you need to hear even if it may be harder to process than a sugar-coated version. I care about your progress and will make sure that you are reaching your goals because ultimately my hope is that you don’t need me anymore and that feeling you get when you reach this point in therapy is life changing. I am a change agent ready to help you make the changes you have been wanting to make but haven’t yet. I am on your side and will always put your needs at the forefront of our work together.
Taking this first step and signing up for therapy takes courage and I am proud of you for getting started. I can’t wait to meet you!

Alexandra Rocheleau is a licensed psychotherapist with nine years of clinical experience who holds licensure in Florida, Vermont, and West Virginia. She is a licensed clinical social worker in Vermont (license number 089.0131983) and has built a practice addressing a wide range of concerns including stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma and abuse, grief and loss, mood and personality disorders, substance-related challenges, family and parenting conflicts, intimacy-related issues, sleep disturbances, career difficulties, and compassion fatigue.
Her approach blends evidence-based therapies with a pragmatic, client-centered stance. She draws from methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy to tailor treatment to each person’s needs. Alexandra creates an open, nonjudgmental space where thoughts and feelings can be explored, and she emphasizes practical self-care as a foundation for healing and sustained change.
Alexandra is both empathetic and direct in her work. She supports clients with warmth and honesty, offering clear feedback even when it may be difficult to hear, because she is committed to measurable progress and to helping clients reach a point where they no longer need ongoing therapy. She views herself as a change agent who centers the client’s goals throughout treatment.
Outside of clinical work she practices what she preaches about self-care. In the Vermont summers she plays on a women’s slow-pitch softball team and was part of a state championship win. In winter she enjoys ice fishing on Lake Champlain, and on weekends you might find her sitting on an upside-down bucket with an ice rod. A lighthearted personal note is that she can eat an entire watermelon in one sitting. Alexandra describes herself as down-to-earth and a straight-shooter, and she welcomes the courage it takes to begin therapy.
Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life transitions, remote therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person care for most individuals.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that fits their life and comfort level, choosing video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to keep appointments and maintain momentum in treatment.
Each therapist who provides online care is a licensed professional, and clients have the option to change therapists if they need a different fit. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible and practical route to meaningful progress on common mental health concerns.
