Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi, I’m Christopher Yeung, a BACP registered Psychodynamic therapist with a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approach.
Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected — often high-functioning on the outside but carrying a deep sense of pressure, shame, or emotional numbness on the inside.
You may not even think of what you’ve experienced as “trauma,” yet your body and emotions tell a different story: fatigue, overthinking, chronic anxiety, difficulty trusting others, or never feeling “good enough.” These are not flaws — they’re survival strategies.
I offer a warm, grounded space where you can gently explore your inner world at your own pace. My approach blends deep listening with psychodynamic understanding — helping you make sense of your past, so it no longer controls your present.
In therapy with me, you don’t need to be “fixed.” You just need space to feel, understand, and reconnect with the parts of yourself you may have pushed away for years.
What I Help With:
Trauma (including emotional neglect, complex PTSD)
Anxiety, overthinking, and burnout
Depression and emotional numbness
Self-esteem and inner critic work
Relationship wounds and attachment issues
Navigating life transitions and emotional overwhelm
How I Work:
My style is gentle, reflective, and attuned to your emotional needs. I don’t rush or pressure — instead, I meet you where you are. I believe healing happens in a space of safety, curiosity, and connection.
We’ll look at patterns in your life, relationships, and early experiences — not to stay stuck in the past, but to reclaim your voice, needs, and inner safety in the present.
I offer both short-term and long-term work, depending on your goals. Our sessions can be in English or Mandarin — whichever helps you express yourself more fully.

Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For a range of common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or managing life changes – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One key benefit is flexibility. Clients can connect with a therapist in the way that suits them best – by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This variety of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and clients may choose to switch therapists at any time if they prefer a different fit.
Online therapy can support many of the issues people commonly seek help for, and the different communication methods help accommodate personal needs and schedules.
