Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a licensed therapist in the UK with over 10 years of experience working as a psychotherapist, counselor, supervisor, and life coach.
Supporting and helping clients, who have a diverse range of concerns such as coping with challenging life changes, depression, anxiety, neurodiversity (Autism / ADHD / individuals and parent support), GLBT-related and relationship issues. Additionally, I have supported clients who have suffered from physical trauma or emotional abuse.
My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.
My approach combines humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and rational-emotive therapy.
I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your individual and specific challenges and needs.
I believe that you are the expert on your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage.
I am here to support you in that process.
But much more than my words, these are some comments from people that I recently worked with:
“I discussed my anger issues with Jose and the impact they were having on my relationships, especially my marriage. He was able to help me see things from a new perspective and taught me techniques that allowed me to manage things better. I was able to see a change in myself after a few sessions and the improvement to my marriage was clear.”
“I started working with José at a time when I was not doing well and couldn’t understand what was going on. José allowed me to change my perspective on how I view myself, my surroundings, and my personal history. After a few weeks, things started to change for the better for me, and now after six months, I’m happier and more at ease with life than I have been in a long time. I would highly recommend José for his empathy, professionalism, and understanding.”
“I always looked forward to my sessions with José. It felt like he was interested in my overall well-being and ready to change the direction of our discussions whenever I liked. José is a great listener, is very understanding, and gives the right balance of “life emotional support” and just letting me figure things out with guidance.
José gave me space to work through things, and enabled me to have a greater understanding of my feelings and thoughts.”
If you feel my experience and skills can help you to find your answers and improve your well-being, I look forward to working with you!
