Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am licensed in the UK as a Psychodynamic Counsellor. I have experience in helping clients in many areas, including stress and anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma and abuse. Whilst I do not offer advice, I am here to listen and think with you about your experiences, thoughts, and emotions. Often having another person to talk things out with can help us see things from another perspective or can facilitate finding a clearer way forward.
Our therapy can be either short or long term, and we can think together about what option works best for you. I offer once weekly sessions which will be very open for you to bring and discuss anything you wish. There is not a specific plan that we stick to, with steps and goals, but rather a fluid space to work on what feels important at that time. I do not often set homework, but if you feel that some goals between sessions would be helpful, we can definitely discuss this.
There are many different treatment approaches in therapy, so it is important that you find the one that works for you. If you would like more information about the psychodynamic approach, please feel free to ask or do your own research.

Rebecca Hird is licensed in the United Kingdom as a psychodynamic counsellor. She works with people facing stress and anxiety, relationship difficulties, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, and related concerns.
Rather than giving direct advice, Rebecca listens and collaborates with clients to think through their experiences, thoughts and emotions. Having another person to talk things through with can create new perspectives and help clarify a way forward.
Therapy with Rebecca can be short or long term depending on what suits the client. She offers once-weekly sessions that provide an open space for clients to bring up and discuss whatever feels important at that time, without following a rigid, step-by-step plan.
Rebecca does not often set homework, though she will discuss between-session goals if these would be helpful. If a client would like more information about the psychodynamic approach, Rebecca is happy to explain it or clients may choose to research it independently.
Many people wonder whether online therapy genuinely helps. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether by video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. That flexibility can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
These services are provided by licensed professionals and therapists, and clients can change therapists if they would prefer a different fit. For many people facing everyday mental health concerns, online therapy offers an accessible and effective option alongside in-person care.
