Dr. Robin Miller

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

My name is Robin

I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at California Southern University, Master’s degree from Webster University in Clinical Counseling, and Bachelor’s degree from Rollins College in Psychology.
I am a licensed mental health counselor in private practice in Florida.

I completed my internship providing psychological services for teens and young mothers in a pregnancy program, as well as working as a substance abuse counselor with adults. Upon completion of my Master’s, I went straight into private practice.

I am a former high school psychology teacher. I serve as a general psychology and basic counseling skills adjunct instructor at Eastern Florida State College and I teach various level undergraduate and graduate level courses at South College.

My area of focus in my practice is on anxiety and depression. I work mainly with people who are feeling stuck and have a negative outlook on life. My goal is to help people gain clarity in their situations and build the skills to find meaning and purpose in their lives.
I use an eclectic approach to therapy. With a mix of various CBT techniques to challenge many of those illogical thoughts that plague many people, with a mix of mindfulness activities, I find that my clients do very well with these two modalities, when appropriate. I take each client as a very unique individual, so once we meet, I can get a better idea of what the client may need as far as treatment approaches.
There is nothing more rewarding than guiding someone through their journey into wellness!

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, research shows that online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person care.

One major benefit is flexibility. Individuals can connect with a therapist in the format that fits their life best – video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to keep up with regular sessions.

Therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and clients can change therapists if they feel a different fit would be better. For many people facing everyday mental health challenges, virtual therapy offers a practical and effective route to support and growth.
