Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello – I would first like to say I’m not a conventional therapist. I do have professional training and professional experience and degrees, but really, I consider myself a fellow human being here to help another fellow human being. I pull from my knowledge, professional and personal experiences to provide you with insights and guidance. I mostly like to listen, provide feedback and offer solutions in a conversational manner. I feel strongly that this is your healing journey so if you find that my style doesn’t work for you, that’s okay; but if you want to give me a chance, I’d love to hear your story. I am also currently am not offering any live sessions – just asynchronous messaging. Thank you for reading!

Kathryn Klein does not present herself as a conventional therapist. She combines professional training and personal experience to offer thoughtful insights and practical guidance, meeting people where they are as another human being helping a fellow human being.
Her style emphasizes listening first, then offering feedback and conversational suggestions that are tailored to each person’s needs. Kathryn respects that each person leads their own healing journey and honors when her approach may not be the right fit for someone – while welcoming those who are willing to share their story with her.
She is a licensed clinical professional counselor in both Illinois and Nevada and brings 15 years of clinical experience to her work. Kathryn is based in Illinois and is currently offering asynchronous messaging only – she is not providing live sessions at this time.
Many people wonder whether connecting with a therapist online can really help. For a range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and adjustments to life changes – online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person work.
One major benefit is convenience. Online options let you engage in the way that fits your routine and comfort level – whether through video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging – which can make it simpler to keep therapy consistent.
Therapists offering online care are licensed professionals, and if the match does not feel right, it is possible to switch to a different therapist. Online therapy can provide flexible access to professional support when addressing many everyday mental health and relationship concerns.
