Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My name is Laura Braswell. I am 48 years old and received my post-graduate training degrees from Rutgers University and Princeton. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and I have a Masters of Divinity degree with a focus on counseling. I have been married for 22 years and have six children and many foster children. I have worked in multiple clinical settings and provided group counseling, individual counseling and couples counseling. I have had great success in working with people that struggle with depression, anxiety, loss of a sense of purpose or drive, complex parenting and relationship issues, addictions, grief and loss, adoption and fertility issues and trauma. I believe all people are capable of moving towards a place of radical healing when they receive the help, motivation and spiritual guidance that they need. Being an older counselor that experienced many things personally and first-hand allows me to speak from experience and not theory. It allows me to identify with my clients and more fully understand what they need and how I can help them. Life is not easy, but you are not alone. Your situation is not hopeless. You cannot change other people, but you can change yourself and how you let other people impact you. You can break the chains of addiction, stop destructive behavior patterns, set goals and make them happen. You have taken a first step to finding help and healing. I would love to join you on this journey and share my expertise and time to help you reach and discover your full potential and purpose in life. It is not easy, but you are not alone!

She emphasizes that difficult circumstances do not have to be hopeless and that while individuals cannot change others, they can change themselves and how they respond to relationships and behaviors.
Laura invites people who are ready to take a first step toward change to work with her as she shares her time and expertise to help them discover greater purpose and reach their potential.
For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or major life transitions – online therapy can be an effective option comparable to traditional in-person care. Research and clinical practice have shown that remote sessions work well for a wide range of everyday mental health needs.
One of the main advantages is flexibility. Clients can connect with therapists in whatever format they find most comfortable – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit counseling into busy schedules and varied lifestyles.
All therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they seek a different fit. This approach helps people access consistent support while finding the therapeutic relationship that best meets their needs.
